Mini Truck Shoot

Well...once again on a scheduled shoot day I get NO clouds,no overcast so I pushed the shoot till 30 mins before sunset. No biggie , but I had 3 trucks to shoot. Needless to say with one metallic,one glossy, and one flat painted truck I had to bracket my exposures with the quickly falling light, not to mention the second location we needed to shoot.

In all I'm happy with the results and had a blast doing the shoot. I just wish I did the "draggin" shots first...but honestly, I wanted to do that last in case the PoPo shut us down haha. By the time we were ready the light was too low for me to steady the camera in my bouncy stang haha. But the plans are in to do the draggin shots later on...in better light of course !

So the wait is on for the sickest rollin' shots to date !

DFT #9 at Brainerd Dragstrip

This past Saturday was the 9th "Draggin For Toys" at Brainerd Dragstrip, and of course, I went !!! Awesome turnout, big crowd and plenty of mean machines. Not to mention a wild S10 that dragged the rear and then slammed down hard enough to leave a 1/2 deep,2' long groove, well...grooves in the track, man that was fun to shoot haha.

Stepping it up

Just another announcement about some GOOD changes. First off I now have a better E-mail which is JasonColePhoto@gmail, not only is it better for recognition but the Gmail account makes my processes faster and more organized. I plan on doing the "hotrod1965" to "JasonColePhoto" E-mail transition early next year, and continue to use "hotrod1965" until it is phased out.

Another change that's in the process is print order shipments...which will be quicker now. I'm working on eliminating a certain process that usually adds 2-3 days of delivery,and hope to have this issue resolved by December.

And one last change that's on the list is a better system for track orders, some people like to view the shots on my site and then ask for them on the spot,which is fine with me. The system will mainly be for me, for payment and records purposes.

Well that's just a short summery of a few changes in effect, all to better my photography business and integrity.
