Yep, went out for another location shoot for the fun of it. Didn't last too long though. The heat was sooo bad, I had to keep wiping sweat off the camera haha.But we came back with some awesome shots...from that hot shady spot lol.

Flyer Design

My main reason for this post is to help spread the word. But I feel good in knowing that I'm helping, designing this flyer,and hopefully making it a big show.
But here's the web version flyer based from the info from the paper versions created by a Mr & Mrs. Parrott, which are fellow racers at Paradise.

Just a good excuse to post another pic haha. I Had fun at Paradise tonight, while I was walking around the staging lanes (after sunset) I seen a shot I couldn't pass up. I ran to get the tripod out of the stang and hurried back to set everything up before Buddy (owner/driver) jumped in to make another pass. I dialed in and shot four different exposures.
Using Photoshop I "Selectively" blended the shots together. Plus some minor touch up work to the body. Then I did the usual enhancement, tones,color,sharpness,etc.

New gear New Shots !

Well, my new gear came in along with my new Scott Kelby book. I know there's so much info on the internet but I seem to learn faster by reading books ? But anyhow, I went out today and did a lil' session with Angela. It was a very good shoot, I was hitting my exposures dead on. So we had fun just shooting away and working on poses and directional lighting. Above are the 4 shots I've edited so far. One is a new edit for me, it's a high contrast/high key edit. With the new gear and techniques I'm able to pull off many edit's without a problem...and in less time haha.

Next will be diffused lighting (Directional) in another enviroment. Practice makes perfect !

Web Versions

Well, figured I would jump on here and post something. I've been busy fixing up some web versions for the host of the Paradise Show-N-Go..BB brown, very cool fella. I finally sent his 50+ web versions to him haha. But with any post ...here's a few of the shots (the special edits too). Oh...I'm currently waiting for UPS to pull up with more "Portrait" gear I ordered. I'm thinking about getting serious about it. We'll see where it takes me. So far I upgraded my gear with a Battery grip,flash diffuser's,flash gels/holder,42" 5 in 1 reflector,white reflector board, and knocked the dust off my tri-pod haha.

Show-N-Go Plans...

Well, I'm editing and processing print orders from the July 3rd show ! Been a lil' busy, but thats a good thing haha. I'm planning on setting up a small booth at the next Show-N-Go (Oct 2010) displaying 8x10,11x14,& maybe 20x30 prints.I'll print out some Lustre,Metallics,and B&W's. Just so people can get a good visual of my Photography and print quality...which I have great pride in I might add haha.

The plans are to print 4x6 proofs of recent S&G's and make albums so people can flip through and make orders on the spot. I'll also have some flyers with info about my website so others can order from home if they like. Note: Thats the main reason for the booth...I've noticed/talked to many people that are unaware of my "order" site.
