Portraits to PinUp style shots

Well I'm happy to be waiting on my newest gear to arrive. I made a few orders to get the gear I need to achieve my desired results for PinUp style photoshoots (The old skool look where the girl poses by a killer hot rod, etc.) and to also improve my regular portrait sessions also. So I plan on being busy with this new angle of photography in 2011, and plan on making the best of it while staying on top of my motor-sports photography. 2011 here I come!

A Better Domain

Just a lil' extra info, for the longest time my site has ended with .INFO , but I now purchased a .NET . So in short I had to do a lot of domain work between my site www.ColePhoto.net and the host. Hopefully changes went smoothly and my .NET will be ranking high here soon.
So for 2011 ... www.ColePhoto.net

Pseudo HDR

Starting messing around with the HDR editing (again lol) or to be technically correct "pseudo HDR" ...at the moment anyhow. I just been playing with single Jpeg images taken on race days, there's no bracketing a launch shot haha. But I've managed to create a few good ones , enough that I will offer this type of edit in 2011 to people who like the look.

New shots

Have been added to the "Winter Collection" gallery. This time out (1-10-2011) the snow had stopped,so I was able to have my gear out in the open a lil' more haha. I also took my remote flash out with me and captured a few off camera flash shots.

Feel free to check the gallery out... CLICK HERE

Attention Paradise & Brainerd Racers !!!!

Been working on something cool for 2011. A brand spankin new layout haha, right now it's for 11x14's only but can easily be edited for larger print.

The Paradise layouts are finished, I went ahead and made one for 2010 also (it will be added to products soon) and the Brainerd layout is 80% finished, I just have to get a certain shot next time I go up...but it will be in the first product list in 2011 for sure.

Attached is a sample display...

Snow in Georgia...On Christmas !

Well...who would've thought....Snow on Christmas ! That was a surprise no doubt, and a good one to. So here I am just moved into our new place (awesome btw) and I decide to rip out the Nikon, both lenses and a flash. I hit the area near the backyard which has a big pond and some pretty cool ducks that just hang out and like to eat.
I tried not to gain attention at first so I could catch the ducks in their own,...it's a nature shoot ya know haha. Then they finally caught on and came up to make some noise, I then put on the wide angle and snapped some landscape while the snow was falling, and btw I was doing all of this with a big towel over my camera and lens....yeah it got into the shots sometimes.

Anyhow , I have the full collection on my site, prep and ready.
Check'em out
