View from the Delta Queen

Angela and I took a relaxing lil' vacation this weekend. We booked a room on the Delta Queen in Chattanooga, which for any who's interested, is known to be haunted. Just google Delta Queen hauntings or Mary B. Green. But anyhow, late into the night I set up the camera on the third deck to catch a shot of our view. We already made plans to go back soon haha, and I will get this shot and sunset for sure!

The Photoshoot

Finally got to shoot with my new gear...Wireless triggers, light stands. Now I just need one more set of gels for the flashes. We all had a good time during the shoot,it's nice when the owners of the cars are laid back and not rushing haha.

Angela helped me out a good bit too,(needs a lil' more training on the job though lol) adjusting the light stands and flashes, and helping with lens swaps.
It really does take two people to get a good shoot done...unless you're just going for 3 shots haha. But overall...a very fun time.

The 50/50 edit

Just found this shot on my computer ! I forgot that I even took it haha, but the intention was to catch the reflection on the ground and do some kind of edit. So I went with the 50/50 edit... I left only the yellow lines in color on this one,but as you can tell/can't tell ...it looks about normal. It is a 50/50 lol, just that the stang blends so well since it's a grey (Tungsten) color.
Just thought I would share it.

Great Show...Next Photoshoot

I had a great time at the Alzheimer's association fund raiser at Paradise. And word is, that they raised a good amount of $$$ ! And Karen told me they're doing it again next year too. I was able to get my prints framed in time to set up my display booth too. Angela helped my by handing out my business cards, and she did a good job explaining to people about print sizes and paper. But overall we both had a good time just relaxing and talking with everyone at the show.
And I even pulled off a lil' shoot in the pit area. Mcentyre wanted his rides group together for a shot that will be printed 20x30.(above shot) And it took a decent amount of cloning and editing to make a crowded event pic look like a clean shot...but thats the fun part haha.
And I currently have a two car photoshoot lined up for this Saturday, one of the rides is a clean Duster (Pic above) and I can't wait...my light stands and wireless triggers came in !!! So the next post should be some awesome shots no doubt !
