PWL Full Scene (Almost,,lol)

Took my PWL a little further this time. Went for a full scene,but due to the neighbors and being midnight I didn't light the background (their homes !).I also pushed this one more, trying to get the fine line between real photo / surreal painting. Anyhow...I learned a few more things this time,and plan to keep perfecting my images !

Had a slow but relaxing day today, so I created a video !Drag Racing shots,Photoshoot's,Painting with light,Old skool touch,etc. Check it out on MySpace...

Painting with Light again !

A did another PWL shoot tonight for practice,and to test out a bigger light. The new light worked great...just not for long !!!! Missed the roof and had a lot of touch ups in Photoshop just to complete this image to display. So the search is still on for the right light source for my needs. Practice makes perfect...or close enough. haha.

Shots with the 55-200mm Nikkor VR

Here's a shot with my new lens. I'm overall happy with it,but I'm having small but few issues with metering in high contrast situations. And had a few out of focus shots...? Not sure the reason yet,I'm guessing high contrast also.But a very good lens !

Show & Go with New lens

Awesome day but a lil' chilly, glad I have VR lenses ! haha

Had a lot a fun using my new lens (Nikkor 55-200mm AF-S VR ) found new angles & found out that I don't have to run up and down the rails as much ! 300 shots with 294 keepers ! Noticed that 5.6 @ 200mm is too soft for my standards though, have to stay F/8 and up for that focal length. But happy with the results none the less.
Will try to post 55-200mm pics soon !
